Meet the Team: Chloé Brooks – Executive Officer

One of those people is Chloé Brooks, our Executive Officer — and someone the team affectionately describes as the “fount of all knowledge”.

Having been with Riverside since 2015, Chloé has become an integral part of the business, keeping everything running seamlessly behind the scenes.

The Queen of Pay and Accounts

Chloé’s role is varied, fast-paced, and absolutely essential to the day-to-day running of Riverside. From processing staff hours and managing invoices and VAT, to registering new candidates and supporting the wider team, no two days ever look quite the same.

She’s also the go-to person for anything payroll-related — handling pay queries, ensuring invoices are accurate and paid on time, and managing holiday pay. It’s a role that requires precision, organisation, and a deep understanding of the business — all things Chloé brings in abundance.

Alongside this, she plays a key support role for the consultants, helping with candidate registrations, contracts, job postings and even making sure vacancies are visible in the office window.

A Decade at Riverside

Chloé joined Riverside back in 2015 after being approached by Faye through a mutual connection while looking to move into an admin role — and as she puts it, “the rest is history.”

Starting out as an admin assistant, Chloé has grown with the business over the years, taking on more responsibility and becoming a trusted support to the leadership team. Her recent 10-year work anniversary marked a huge milestone — not just professionally, but personally too.

It’s clear that what’s kept her at Riverside is more than just the role itself. The supportive, flexible and understanding culture — combined with a close-knit team — has made a lasting impact.

A Team That Feels Like Family

Ask Chloé to describe the Riverside team and you’ll get three words: crazy, funny, caring.

That sense of personality and connection runs through everything Riverside Recruitment does. It’s a place where people feel valued, supported and part of something — not just another number.

It’s also a business where no two days are the same. As Chloé points out, one thing people might not realise about recruitment is just how quickly things change behind the scenes — and how much work goes into keeping everything running smoothly.

Life Outside of Work

Outside the office, family is everything to Chloé.

Recently becoming a mum for the first time, life has become, in her words, “BUSY BUSY BUSY!” — but it’s a change she wouldn’t have any other way.

When she does get a moment to herself, you’ll often find her enjoying time with friends and family or heading off for weekends away to her caravan in Devon.
