Lead a Key Production Team

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Operative – Blending to join a successful food manufacturing operation on a permanent night shift.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with food production experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll play a key role in overseeing blending operations, supporting a small production team, and ensuring products are manufactured safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Production Operatives during the night shift.
• Blend raw materials accurately to recipe specifications.
• Monitor production performance and maintain high-quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
• Operate and maintain blending and production equipment.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members.
• Resolve production issues and report operational concerns.
• Maintain accurate production records and housekeeping standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous food manufacturing or food production experience
• Blending experience is desirable.
• Previous experience as a Team Leader, Lead Operative, or Supervisor.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach to work.
• Reliability and commitment to working permanent nights.
