We are looking for a Senior Quality Manager for my client In Rotherham, a specialist precision engineering company who supply into medical and aerospace sectors, where quality isn’t just important – it’s critical.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who can take full ownership of quality, lead from the front, and drive a culture where standards are never compromised. Key Responsibilities for the Senior Quality Manager:

  • Owning and continuously improving the Quality Management System (ISO 13485 & AS9100)
  • Leading internal & external audits, ensuring the business is always audit-ready
  • Driving compliance across medical device and aerospace standards
  • Overseeing inspection, validation and metrology processes
  • Leading robust CAPA, root cause analysis and risk management activities
  • Managing supplier quality and performance
  • Acting as the main point of contact for customers on all quality matters
  • Supporting NPI, APQP and cross-functional projects
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the business

To be considered as the Senior Quality Manager:

We’re looking for a confident, credible Quality leader who can balance technical expertise with strong people leadership. This role would be ideal for those wishing to step up the ladder.

  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager within CNC machining or precision engineering
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 13485 and/or AS9100 environments
  • Experience working within medical device and/or aerospace sectors
  • A solid understanding of metrology, GD&T and inspection techniques
  • Experience leading audits, CAPA and regulatory compliance
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to influence at all levels
