We are currently recruiting part‑time SEN Support Practitioners to join a warm, supportive nursery team, supporting children with additional needs.
These roles are child‑specific and aligned to individual attendance patterns, making them ideal for practitioners seeking flexible, part‑time work during the week. Please reach out as we may just have hours to suit your needs!!!
About the Role
- Pay/Salary – Unqualified starting from – £12.71ph (£23,793.12) Qualified (depending on level of qualifications and experience) from £13 per hour – £16 per hour
- Providing 1:1 or small‑group support for children with Special Educational Needs
- Supporting children’s learning, communication, and emotional development
- Working closely with the nursery team, SENCO, and parents/carers
- Hours are set around the child’s attendance, for example:
3 afternoons per week, 1:00pm–6:00pm (hours may vary)
About You
- Experience supporting children with SEN in an early years or childcare setting
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Understanding of inclusive practice and child‑centred support
- Relevant childcare qualification preferred (or equivalent experience considered)
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing
