We are looking for an experienced and passionate Room Leader to take charge of the 2–3 year olds room, leading a team of three practitioners.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on leadership role, perfect for someone who thrives in a supportive, stimulating environment and enjoys seeing children flourish during this exciting developmental stage.

You will:

• Lead a team of three practitioners, ensuring the room runs smoothly and reflects the setting’s nurturing, child‑centred ethos.
• Be actively involved in daily routines, including toilet training, personal care, and guiding children as they build independence and prepare for preschool.
• Plan engaging, meaningful activities aligned with the EYFS, making full use of the nursery’s rich environment and access to local amenities such as nearby parks.
• Help maintain the room’s calm, inviting atmosphere that supports independent exploration through low‑level shelving and accessible resources.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with families, ensuring they feel informed and involved in their child’s development.

About You

You’ll be a great fit if you are:

• Qualified to Level 3 or above in Early Years
• Confident in leading a small team while remaining fully hands‑on
• Experienced in supporting toilet training and early independence
• Passionate about the EYFS and delivering high‑quality practice
• Warm, patient, energetic, and dedicated to supporting toddlers’ development
