We are looking for an organised and proactive Purchasing & Goods-In Assistant to support our client’s procurement team. This is a varied role involving purchasing administration, supplier liaison, stock control, and goods-in support.
Responsibilities:
- Raise purchase orders using Sage 50.
- Source suppliers, obtain quotations, and support cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve queries.
- Assist with stock checking and goods-in processes.
- Support procurement projects and day-to-day administration.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in administration, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain is required.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office; Sage 50 experience is advantageous.
- Able to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Own transport is essential due to location
