Production Line Leader / Team Lead / Supervisor / Machine Operator

Hours: 1pm to 10pm (34 paid hrs per week)

The location of site: based near Chew Magna BS39 but is in a remote location. Staff must have their own form of transportation to get to and from work daily. This is not on the public transport route.

Hourly rate: £14.54 – £15.65ph DOE

Contract: Full time Permanent

Start date: Immediate

About the Role:
Due to business expansion – We are recruiting for a Production Line Leader / Machine Operator to join a well-established food manufacturing company based near the Chew Magna area. This is a hands-on role where you will lead a small team, operate machinery, and ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain production machinery in line with safety and quality standards
• Lead and supervise a small team of production operatives
• Monitor and maintain product quality through regular checks
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Record production data and machine performance accurately
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and reduce downtime

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a production or food manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Good understanding of health and safety and food hygiene practices
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach
