I am seeking a keen individual to join an established company based in Bathford on a permanent basis. Job Title: Mould Maker

Location: Bathford

Hours: Double day shift pattern

Salary: Starting on £26,415.20 increasing to £29,717.10 – £33,019.00 after probation

You will be expected to work on a double day shift basis; A morning and afternoon alternating shift pattern. An out of hours call out is required to resolve issues that may occur outside the double day shift pattern. This will be worked on a rota basis. This is a relaxed, noise free, clean working environment.

Morning Shift: Monday-Thursday 6am-2pm & Friday 6am-1pm

Afternoon Shift: Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm & Friday 1pm-8pm

PLEASE NOTE: This manufacturing company produces security paper for governed bodies; Therefore, an enhanced DBS will be required.

You will be trained from the start of the design process through to completion of the mould cover; This will include a small amount of operating automated machinery, however 80% of this role will be using hand tools. Your attention to detail must be impeccable. Producing the mould covers includes assembling layers of wire mesh complete with cut outs of embossed images ready for the next stage. These mould covers can only be described as looking like a mesh patch work quilt.

Training and time will be invested for the suitable candidate.

Duties & Responsibilities will include (once trained):

• Embossing and assembling of mould covers
• Edging and preparation of covers
• Mould repairs
• Solder sewing
• Preparation of layouts and templates
• Programme automated machinery
