I am seeking a keen individual to join an established company based in Bathford on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract, however, if you prove willing this could potentially turn into a permanent role.

You will be required to prepare, service, fit, clean and maintain the mould covers ready for production. Some basic maintenance of expanding mould cylinders will be necessary when required.

The suitable candidate will have all the necessary training.

Contract: 6-month FTC (prospect of permanency)

Hours: Mon – Thurs 7.30am-3.30pm & Fri 7.30am – 2pm

PLEASE NOTE: This manufacturing company produces security paper for governed bodies; Therefore, an enhanced DBS will be required. The company will fund.

Daily responsibilities:

• Undertake the transport of mould covers between the manufacturing, preparation and storage areas
• To assist with the cleaning of mould covers and cylinders when required
• Ability to learn other skills used within the department to cover absences and facilitate progression
• Be trained to operate the mould manufacturing equipment
• Assembly of mould covers
• Provide maintenance support including regular routine checks
• Adhere to strict health and safety policies

To be considered:

• Be able to confidently communicate with other members of the team
• Self-motivated and able to work to own your initiative
• Basic knowledge of using a computer
• Ability to maintain records accurately
