Motor Vehicle Technician (Level 3) – Prestige Dealership (South Bristol / North Somerset)

Full Time • Permanent
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience (with flexibility for the right candidate)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00–17:30
Rota Saturday: 1 in 4, 8:00–13:00 (paid at 1.5x overtime rate, in addition to salary)

We are recruiting a Level 3 qualified Motor Vehicle Technician to join a prestige dealership in the South Bristol / North Somerset area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest and most respected retail automotive groups in the Southwest.

Our client services and repairs all makes and models of cars and vans and offers exceptional manufacturer-backed training, including development to Master Technician level with strong focus on hybrid/EV technology.

We welcome applications from technicians of varying experience levels, including those from both main dealers and independent workshops. While we ideally seek someone with solid experience and an MOT licence, there is flexibility on both experience and salary for an outstanding candidate.

Ideal Skills, Experience & Requirements

While we are flexible, the ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years’ experience (ideally, but not essential)
• Level 3 Motor Vehicle Qualification (IMI or equivalent)
• MOT Testing Licence – highly desirable
• EV/Hybrid Level 3 – desirable (training can be provided)

Strong all‑round technical ability, including:

• Clutches
• Cambelts
• Engines
• Gearboxes
• Diagnostics
• Servicing, PDI & prep work
• Full UK clean driving licence
• Own tools
