We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Operator to join a dynamic team based in Bathford on a permanent basis.

We are seeking an individual, that ideally comes from a manufacturing background, who has a keen eye for detail and a passion for working to quality and control systems safely. This role is pivotal that the Shift Operators runs machinery smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall quality of the product. You may be required to operate machinery within stock preparation or in the quality control lab.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Starting at £33,171.00 increasing to £40,116.00 (TBC due to Apr increase)

This is to work on a 28-day shift cycle of 12 hours both days and nights including your days off:

Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon: 6pm – 6am (Nights)

Tues, Wed & Thurs: OFF

Fri, Sat & Sun: 6am – 6pm (Days)

Mon: OFF

Tues, Wed & Thurs: 6pm – 6am (Nights)

Fri, Sat & Sun: OFF

Mon, Tues, Wed & Thurs: 6am – 6pm (Days)

8 DAY BREAK

Responsibilities:

• Operating as part of a team ensuring the KPI’s are achieved
• Ensuring that operation of equipment is carried out adhering to the businesses EH&S regulations and procedures
• Measure, monitor and review the machinery performance
• Ability to be proactive playing a part in improving the efficiency of the machinery and other equipment and operations.
• Perform routine checks and report issues and problems that may arise

To be considered:

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment is advantageous
• Be able to work as a team in a harmonious manner
• Be able to follow instructions and work to a safe and disciplined manner
• Computer literate and have an understanding of targets and KPI’s
