I have an exciting opportunity for an HGV Class 1 driver to join a family-run business based in Gloucester. This role involves collecting refined petroleum products and delivering to both company depots and direct to customers across the region.
Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Gloucester
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 2 weekly Shift Pattern
Salary: £44,000 – £48,000 DOE
The working shift pattern will require a Monday – Friday 2 weekly rotation basis of earlies and lates.
Early Shift Hours: 4am – 2pm (2 weeks)
Late Shift Hours: 3pm – 1am (2 weeks)
Weekend work may be required on occasions.
Applicants must have a clean driving license.
Please Note: An ADR license is beneficial, however the company is willing to fund an ADR for the suitable candidate.
The successful candidate is responsible for the collection & safe delivery of fuel from oil terminals to company depots and customer sites. Your duties will include daily vehicle checks, following to tachograph and working time legislation, completing paperwork accurately, and driving in a courteous manner.
