Riverside Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established and reputable automotive dealership in the Bristol area, to recruit a motivated and customer-focused Car Sales Executive.

This is not a high-pressure, highly commission-driven sales role. Instead, our client is looking for someone who takes a collaborative approach and enjoys being part of a close-knit team, as a small, close-knit team, collaboration is key — this isn’t a cut-throat, high-pressure sales environment. Our client is looking for someone who can deliver strong sales results while still working as part of a team, offering a more consultative, customer-first approach rather than aggressive selling.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving, high-volume site with a strong local reputation, specialising in quality used vehicles and operating as a trusted authorised repairer.

The Role

As a Car Sales Executive, you will:

  • Welcome customers and guide them through the full vehicle buying journey
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles
  • Manage enquiries both in person and remotely
  • Build rapport and deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Work towards sales targets while maintaining quality and compliance
  • Present finance packages and promote additional products such as warranties and paint protection

You’ll be working within a busy, high-performing site retailing 30+ vehicles per month, with a stock profile of approximately 50–60 vehicles, typically aged 1–6 years.

Working Hours

  • 8:45am – 5:45pm, 5 days per week
  • 1 weekday off
  • Every Saturday required (with an earlier finish at 4:30pm)

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in car sales
  • Experience in both buying and selling vehicles
  • Confident presenting finance options and add-on products
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Target-driven with a proactive approach
  • Ability to build long-term customer relationships
  • Full UK driving licence
