I am seeking an Assembly Operative (Wiring) to join an Electronics Manufacturing organisation based in Andover.

They are looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Wiring Technician who has a solid background in electrical assembly. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected company with exceptionally low staff turnover, known for investing in its people.

You must have great attention to detail.

Job Title: Assembly Operative (Wiring)

Salary: Up to 30K

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday 8.45am – 3pm

Responsibilities:

• Carry out Wiring on electronic assemblies
• Working to detailed electronic drawings to company standard
• Inspect and test completed assemblies
• Cut, strip and terminate wires to connectors and electrical units
• Work on own initiative independently
• Work on prototype wiring, crimping and soldering
• Notify on any errors on procedures, drawings, BOM and routes to support quality/manufacturing

To be considered:

• Excellent soldering and workmanship standards
• Good organisational and coordination skills
• High attention to detail
• Knowledge of wiring, crimping and looming
• Ability to work to electronics engineering drawings
• 2 years of experience within the sector
