I am seeking a CNC Miller (3 & 5 Axis) to join a business based in Leeds.

This company delivers high performance precision engineering solutions to the healthcare / aerospace sector. They specialise in manufacturing complex components, prototypes and production surgical instruments for medical procedures.

Job Title: CNC Miller (3 & 5 Axis)

Location: Leeds (relocating to Castleford within 12 months)

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £38,000.00 + Shift Allowance

Hours: Monday to Friday afternoon shift- Monday – Thursday 3pm – 11pm, Friday 2pm – 10pm

I am seeking an experienced CNC Miller (3 & 5 Axis) to join a precision engineering company based in Leeds.  You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery producing components, managing tool set up and ensuring high quality production throughout each run.

The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, requiring minimal supervision and have proven / current experience within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities:

• Machine setup, tooling and program loading
• Editing/optimising CNC programs (G-code and/or CAM)
• First-off inspection and in-process quality checks
• Reading engineering drawings and working to GD&T
• Troubleshooting machining issues and improving cycle times
• Maintaining quality and compliance standards (ISO9001 / AS9100)

To be considered:

• Strong understanding of precision measurement and engineering drawings
• Experience machining stainless steel, titanium, aluminium or similar materials
• Confident using measurement equipment
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Good communication, teamwork and IT skills
