Job:                     Customer Quality Engineer

Location:            Leeds

Hours:                 7.00am-3.15pm (Monday to Thursday), 7.00am-2.30pm (Friday)

Salary:                 £44kpa

Contract:           Permanent

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer looking to join a growing medical device manufacturer?

We are seeking a customer-focused quality professional to support leading OEM customers across Class I, II and III medical devices. Taking ownership of customer complaints, CAPA activities, non-conformance investigations, and QMS compliance, helping drive quality excellence across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer quality issues through to resolution
• Lead CAPA and non-conformance investigations
• Maintain compliance with ISO 13485, MDR and FDA requirements
• Support audits and quality system improvements
• Analyse quality data and identify improvement opportunities
• Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to reduce defects and improve processes

About you

• Previous Quality Engineering or QA experience within medical devices
• Strong knowledge of ISO 13485 and regulated manufacturing environments
• Experience with CAPA, RCA, customer complaints and QMS
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of CNC machining, CMM inspection or precision engineering is required
