Monday to Thursday | 3:30pm – 12:00am
£16.05 per hour during probation, rising to £17.15 per hour upon successful completion of probation (includes 10% shift enhancement)
33 paid hours per week
£27,530 – £29,437 per annum

Riverside Recruitment are looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor to join a successful and growing food manufacturing operation in the Chew Magna area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated production professional with supervisory experience to lead and support a busy afternoon shift team. You will be responsible for ensuring production targets, quality standards and health & safety requirements are consistently achieved while driving team performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating production activities across the shift
• Leading, motivating and supporting production operatives
• Monitoring productivity and ensuring production targets are met
• Driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, quality and health & safety standards
• Managing shift handovers and reporting production performance
• Investigating and resolving operational issues and downtime
• Supporting training and development of team members

What We’re Looking For

• Previous supervisory experience within manufacturing or food production
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Good understanding of health & safety and quality standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Positive, proactive and hands-on approach
