Pay: £13.21ph (40hrs)

We are seeking a reliable and motivated TIG Mop Operative to join our clients growing production team in Sparkford.

As a TIG Mop Operative, you will be responsible for removing weld discolouration from metal products using specialist chemicals and processes, ensuring finished products meet the highest quality standards. You’ll work independently while contributing to the overall success of the production team.

Responsibilities:

· Removing weld stains from stainless steel and other metals using specialist cleaning processes

· Following all Health & Safety procedures and PPE requirements

· Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met

· Meeting daily production targets with accuracy and attention to detail

· Operating and maintaining equipment safely and effectively

· Supporting the wider production team with assembly and manufacturing tasks when required

· Using hand and air tools within the production environment

· Contributing ideas to improve efficiency, quality and productivity

· Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area.

What we are looking for

· Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or factory environment would be beneficial

· A positive attitude and willingness to learn

· Excellent attention to detail

· Reliable with strong timekeeping and attendance

· Able to work independently and as part of a team

· Good communication skills

· Strong organisational and task management abilities

· A conscientious approach to quality, safety and productivity

· Comfortable following procedures and working to deadlines

Important Information

This role involves standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks and the use of specialist chemicals whilst wearing full PPE. A good level of physical fitness and attention to detail is essential. You will receive comprehensive training, ongoing coaching, and support from the supervisory team to help you succeed and develop within the business.

Hours:

Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm, Fridays 7.30am to 12.30 pm.
