I am seeking an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join a precision engineering company based in Rugby.

This is to work a 4 day week.

Job Title: CNC Setter / Operator

Location: Rugby

Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am – 4pm

Salary: £37,500.00 – £43,500.00 DOE

You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery (Fixed Heads), producing components, managing tool set up and ensuring high quality output throughout production.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to carry and complete CNC machine set ups on fixed head turning
• Produce first off parts and complete checks before full production runs
• Work to engineering drawings
• Adjust tooling and offsets
• Monitor and inspect wear and damage on all machinery and escalate where needed
• Operation and management of CNC machines during the production process
• Daily / Weekly / Monthly maintenance of machinery
• Update and record production data
• Support continuous improvement and communicate effectively

To be considered:

• Strong knowledge in CNC machinery and Fixed turning
• Ability to read program code and identity errors
• Demonstrate and work in high pressure situations
• IT skills
• Strong knowledge of all materials and cutting grades
• Proven experience within operating CNC machinery
