The Warehouse and Production Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing both warehouse and production processes. This role ensures efficient operations, meets production targets, and maintains quality and safety standards. Additionally, you will manage, lead and develop the warehouse and production teams, fostering a positive work environment and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning and Coordination: Develops and executes production schedules, ensuring timely production of food products to meet demand.

Team Leadership: Supervises, motivates, and trains production and warehouse teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Quality Control: Ensures adherence to internal and external quality standards, implementing quality control measures.

Safety Compliance: Implements and maintains health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Warehouse Management: Oversees warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.

Inventory Control: Manages inventory levels, minimises waste, and ensures timely delivery of materials.

Problem-Solving: Identifies and addresses production issues, implementing solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Continuous Improvement: Identifies opportunities for process improvement, implements new technologies, and optimises operations.

Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicates with various stakeholders, including team members, other departments, and management.

Reporting and Analysis: Monitors production performance, analyses data, and provides regular reports on key metrics.

The Warehouse and Production Operations Lead ensures that the production line operates smoothly and efficiently. They lead and develop their teams to ensure optimal production effectiveness. Additionally, you will ensure that the company’s quality, hygiene, and health and safety standards are met at all times. you’ll also liaise with colleagues in planning, technical, and supply chain departments.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a production or warehouse management role within a food manufacturing industry.
• Strong team player with the ability to multitask effectively with personable skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to hit the ground running as required during operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration across departments.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• must be able to lead and motivate a team of employees. Including giving clear instructions, delegating tasks, and providing feedback and coaching to team members.
• Ability to provide clear and effective communication with employees at all levels, including those with limited experience, is essential.
