I am seeking Trainee Technicians to join a company based in Paulton.

The company is a specialist within their field by supplying a national service by manufacturing, installing, and fitting their world-renowned products. Being the UK subsidiary, they offer a complete range of products, and this is backed up by comprehensive project management experience, a highly trained technical department and sales team.

If you are a hands-on individual that has an interest in the mechanical/electrical sector, who would like to become one of their professional fitters in time, please read on.

This is a field-based role, so travelling will be required.

Job Title: Trainee Technician

Location: Field based from Paulton

Hourly rate: £13.00ph during training increasing thereafter

To start, trainee technicians will complete the required training modules that will lead to a full-time competent technician with the business. Competent candidates will further embark with in-house training and development programmes where you’ll be provided with additional specific training.

Once Competent after the trainee program your responsibilities will include:

• Perform general repairs and servicing to products

• Implement preventative maintenance measures

• Provide accurate information and maintain asset data

• Respond quickly to the businesses flexible approach, ensuring “first class” levels of customer service are always maintained

• To be fully aware and at all times seek the highest levels of Health & Safety practices

• Provide emergency call out cover as part of our technician’s rota

To be considered:

• Experience within any mechanical or electrical industry would be beneficial

• A professional approach to work alongside effective written and oral communication skills

• A competent understanding of IT and technical information

• A flexible approach to work is essential
