Retail Store Customer and Operations Assistant


Rate of Pay: £10ph

Days and Hours: Store opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 1.30pm however you would work between 30 to 37.5 a week either part time or fulltime. Hours will stay the same daily. My client is hoping for someone to be able to work at least 4 days a week 9am to 5pm.

This position is Fulltime, Permanent.

Our client who are a family owned business, specialising in Pottery supplies to Schools, institutions, experienced, amateur and hobby potters. As a multi-faceted business (Website, Wholesale & Retail) they are now requiring an additional person to join their friendly team based in Radstock.

The job role would involve a multitude of tasks including

  • Answering of phone calls and all technical related queries in the shop/office and website
  • Processing (picking/packing) website orders under strict deadlines
  • Dealing with general enquiries and taking/advising on telephone orders
  • Giving helpful and friendly advice to all customers in our shop.

Our client is looking for the following attributes:

Ability to heavy lift and pack items on a daily basis for the packing aspect of the job role
PC Literate to deals with customer queries through website and emails.
Great Customer service skills
