Production & Packing Assistants

• Location: Midsomer Norton, Radstock
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm / 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm
• Rate of Pay: Basic pay up to £12.21ph + shift enhancements
• Start Date: Immediate
• Duration: Long term temp, the role is ongoing work up until December.

OVERVIEW

Exciting news! Our client, a reputable packaging company based in Midsomer Norton, are expanding their friendly packing teams. We are now seeking several individuals on a full-time, long-term temporary contract running potentially until December 2025. Although there may be opportunities for permanent contracts, this is not guaranteed.

The ideal candidates will have the ability to work quickly, efficiently, and with excellent attention to detail. While experience in similar work would be a huge advantage, it is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly and packing of products according to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace within the production environment
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks and address any issues.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Required

• Experience in a production environment is beneficial
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Flexibility for working hours. Normal hours are 7am to 4pm, but there will be peak times when 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm will be required. These hours attract some shift premiums

Rate Of Pay:

• 21+ £12.21ph
• 18-20 £10.00ph
• 16-17 £7.55ph
• Whilst working shifts you will attract shift premiums!!!
