- The location of site: based near Chew Magna BS39 but is in a remote location. Staff must have their own form of transportation to get to and from work daily. This is not on the public transport route.

Overview – A exciting opportunity has arisen for permanent Production Line Leader/Machine Operator to join our clients friendly manufacturing company.
As a Production Line Leader/Machine Operator in the food industry, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a production line, while also operating and maintaining machinery to meet production targets and quality standards. You will lead and supervise a small team of production workers, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and collaborate with other departments to optimize processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Machinery: Set up, operate, and maintain production machinery, ensuring it runs effectively and safely, and adhere to standard operating procedures.
- Leading and Supervising a Team: Lead and supervise a small team of production workers, ensuring production targets are met, and motivate and inspire them to work as a team.
- Production Line Management: Oversee the smooth running of the production line, ensuring a continuous flow of work, addressing any issues promptly, and maintaining quality standards.
- Health and Safety: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment and ensure team members follow correct PPE protocols.
- Process Improvement: Work with production management to continuously improve processes and procedures and assist in reducing downtime events.
- Quality Control: Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards, complete quality checks, and report any non-conformances.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output and machine performance, and input data into relevant systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous production experience, preferably in the food industry.
- Leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
