  • Salary: £24,984.96 (£11.44ph)
  • Job Type: Full time – Temp to Perm – Perm Contracts can be offered to Candidates who show willing after a short probation/trial period
  • Hours and days: A 4-day week – Monday to Thursdays only (NO FRIDAYS) – 42 hours per week – 6.15am start 5.15pm finish

We’re are working with a leading food manufacturer who specialises in creating high quality food ingredients including pasta, noodles, meal flavourings, marinades, Sauces, and Dressings. Our client’s business never stops innovating, so we are now on the lookout for passionate, willing and friendly individuals to join our client’s dynamic manufacturing team to keep the magic of their business flowing (and the lines humming) 😀

What You’ll Be Stirring Up!

You would play a crucial role in the food production process of dried food products and ingredients, ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and safely for distribution.

  • Accurately hand pack food products into various sized packaging, according to established guidelines and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including HACCP protocols.
  • Conduct quality checks on packaged goods to maintain high standards of product integrity.
  • Operate simple packaging machinery
  • Labelling of products
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Report any issues related to packaging or equipment malfunctions promptly.

Key ingredients we are looking for:

An ideal candidate would be detail-oriented, follows health and safety guidelines, and has a strong understanding of food quality standards. However full training can be provided.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work in small, friendly teams within a food hygiene, production room following the food safety standards by wearing the appropriate PPE which is provided.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, performing simple duties dependant on customer orders that would need to go out.
  • Having a basic understanding and knowledge of food production processes, HACCP and food safety practice would be a bonus!
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
