We have a fantastic opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join a company based in Bathford.

This manufacturing company produces security paper for governed bodies, it’s used with security print to identify and authenticate a document as original. You will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager and required to participate in all electrical and mechanical maintenance, repairs, break downs and fault finding of the plant machinery. Thus, ensuring the manufacturing operation runs smoothly on a daily basis.

Due to the nature of the business, you will require a DBS check; The company will fund.

Location: Bathford

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £49,890.83 once fully signed off

This particular shift pattern is a combination of 12hr days and nights, following an 8-day break. The shift will allow every other weekend off.

Responsibilities:

· Investigate and resolve mechanical and electrical break downs

· Perform PPMs and repair methodically and efficiently

· Carry out site installation of new equipment

· Provide hands-on support to production and service facilities

· Maintain an up-to-date record of training and development programs

· Assist the Production team with movement of materials when necessary

· Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding HS&E, and code of conduct

To be considered:

· Mechanical/Electrical qualification including machine and welding capability

· Preferred knowledge of paper making process

· Operation of steam boilers and utilities plant is advantageous

· Computer literate

· Manage your work priorities and a timely manner
