Location: Street, Somerset

Salary: £41,000.00 + £5,000.00 shift allowance

Contract: Permanent

This international company provides automation technology and software solutions for logistics and production facilities. If you would like to be part of this organisation we have a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer. You must have proven experience and knowledge with electro-mechanical faults and preventative maintenance operations with a distribution warehouse and industrial environment.

You must be self-motivated, reliable and a team player. You must be comfortable to work at heights.

This is worked on a Monday to Friday 3 shift pattern:

6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 8am-4pm. (Cover for holiday and absences will be necessary, this will be on a Panama shift pattern rotation basis)

To be considered for this role this requires a wide range of skills including:

· Minimum NVQ3 Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering

· Mechanical experience including strip-down and re-assembly

· Basic electrical experience including field wiring, machine calibration and system testing

· Working with a deadline to complete to complete reactive repairs

· Communicate with on site management, informing of maintenance progress and addressing troubleshooting

· Service and repair current installed products

· Ability to interpret electrical circuit diagrams and work with 415V motor controls

· Abide by Health and Safety and carry out risk assessments

· Knowledge and ability to read assembly drawings

· Assemble parts with hand tools

· Follow instructions for set up purposes

· Attention to detail

· Customer service skills for internal and external customers

· Basic knowledge of Non-Destructive Technologies and Testing, PLC’s functioning

· Basic knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulics

· Computer literate
