Location: site is based near Chew Magna BS39 but is in a remote location. Staff must have their own form of transportation to get to and from work daily. This is not on the public transport route.

Salary: £28,188.16 (£12.32ph)

Contract: Full time Permanent

Start date: Immediate

4 DAY WEEK!! Hours and Days of work: Mon to Thurs 6am start to 5.30pm finish. 44 hours per week.

Overview – A exciting opportunity has arisen for permanent Production Line Leaders to join our clients friendly manufacturing company.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced production Line Leader to oversee our food production line. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production process while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding industry standards.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities on the production line to ensure efficient workflow within your teams.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices in food production and safety protocols.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including HACCP guidelines.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, addressing any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report any discrepancies or concerns to management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimise production schedules and resolve any operational challenges.
  • Ensure that all team members adhere to hygiene and safety standards throughout the production process.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a food production environment is essential, with a strong understanding of food safety practices.
  • Proficiency in basic maths for accurate measurement and calculations during production processes.
  • Familiarity with HACCP principles and their application in a manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
  • Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members towards achieving production goals.
