Job Overview: The primary purpose of this role is to provide the highest possible level of digital marketing management and leadership within this UK manufacturing Industry. As a key member of the Marketing department, this hands-on and varied role requires an enthusiastic self-starter with several years of experience in digital marketing. You will be responsible for driving the company digital strategy, encompassing web content management, third-party management, SEO, social media marketing, PPC, and CRM responsibilities, in addition to supporting product launches and marketing campaigns. You will also oversee one direct report, ensuring effective collaboration and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage digital marketing campaigns across various platforms (e.g. website, social media, email, PPC, SEO).
  • · Plan and deliver the digital strategy across all platforms to align with the company’s business goals and market trends.
  • Monthly analysis of website and social media performance, adjusting strategies where necessary to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Post-launch campaign analysis for new product launches.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
  • Oversee the company website, updating CMS to ensure the most up-to-date and relevant information is available to customers.
  • Manage third-party relationships to optimise marketing initiatives and partnerships.
  • Lead SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic, creating content to meet goals.
  • Develop and execute social media marketing plans to increase engagement and brand awareness.
  • Coordinate PPC and social advertising campaigns to drive targeted traffic and conversions.
  • Support product launches and marketing campaigns to ensure cohesive and effective execution.
  • Collaborate with the graphic team to produce engaging content that aligns with VADO’s brand and marketing goals.
  • Manage the digital marketing budget to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Supervise and mentor one direct report, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.

Key skills, abilities and competences:

  • 3-5 years digital marketing experience within both a B2B and B2C environment, preferably within the construction industry
  • Professional communication skills both written and verbal; numerate and literate; exceptional levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, DotDigital)
  • Experience using Magento Adobe Commerce, or a similar platform.
  • Excellent IT and Reporting skills
  • Proficient copywriting skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Confident and polite telephone manner, strong listening skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees and customers alike
  • Willingness to speak up and voice ideas and opinions when asked
  • Have a positive attitude and be self-motivated
  • Proactive and positive approach to daily tasks and outcomes
  • Good sense of humour
  • Ideally degree qualified preferably in a business / marketing field, although consideration would be given to an individual of degree calibre with the relevant experience
  • Professional Marketing / Business qualification
