We are seeking a proactive Accounts Manager to join a growing accountancy practice based in Exeter.

Can you manage a small team and hold an ACA | ACCA qualification? Have you worked in a practice environment?

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a leadership mindset to foster long-term relationships with clients. You will be assisting the senior management team and directors in the delivery of statutory accounts preparation. This will include preparing full accounts (including but not limited) for charities and NFP.

Please Note: No previous experience needed within the charity/NFP sector.

Location: Exeter

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £44,000.00 – £48,000.00

Your daily responsibilities will include:

· Management and delivery of accounts assignments

· Overseeing workflow and management of the team

· Taking the lead on audit assignments from planning to completion

· Review audit files ahead of the director review

· Sustaining and build key relationships with both new and existing clients

· Ad hoc project work

To be considered:

· ACA | ACCA qualification

· Experience managing a team

· Work to tight and conflicting deadlines

· Ability to multi-task

· Experience managing accounts assignments including planning, preparation, completion and delivery

· Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting

· Experience using IRIS and My Work Papers (not essential)
