Location: initially be based in Cheddar, Somerset. **However the business will be looking at relocating to Bridgwater, Somerset towards the end of the year in 2025.
Salary: DOE £40,000 per annum
Full time, Permanent. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week (between 8am and 5pm) with a half an hour unpaid break.
Hybrid – Full time in the office until probation is passed – then Hybrid, which is 3 days in the office and 2 days at home – flexibility is a must depending on business needs.

Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Manager who is a passionate individual with drive, enthusiasm, and passion for helping us grow our client’s business and further establish their position in the industry. You will be a great communicator and work well within a team.
Supporting the Head of Product Management with new product development, from idea generation to product market entry, research tasks, overseeing product and business performance, Support product life cycle analysis and market studies. Accountable for all aspects of market research, both desk and field based, to provide fact-based approach to NPD project justifications. Support with identifying, developing, and launching new products and collaborating with the senior sales team to deliver category development and increased market share. This role includes collaboration with China & EU based suppliers to develop or adapt NPD suitable for the industry market.

About you
You’ll have a relevant qualification in product management, a high degree of commercial awareness and a strong level of ability at analysing data. This role requires someone with analytical and reasoning skills. We are looking for someone who has good spreadsheet skills and commercial acumen, with the ability to identify trends / opportunities for new product. Attention to detail is a must, as is an excellent level of written and verbal communication skills. It will be a real advantage if you have prior experience of China-based manufacturing/sourcing, especially if it’s in the field of industry-related products.
