Riverside Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join their client in Midsomer Norton. This is a factory / manufacturing-based environment where you’ll be operating machinery during a production process. I am looking for a reliable, trustworthy and driven individual who is wishing to develop their career and progress.

The Role:

You will be operating / maintaining / running machinery ensuring production is maintained.

Permanent Triple Shift – These shifts do not disrupt weekends, (Unless overtime is available). The hours are Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern and all applicants must be able to cover all shifts if you wish to apply. Your working week is 37.5 hours and overtime will be payable thereafter.

Mornings: Mon – Fri 6am – 1.30pm

Afternoons: Mon – Thurs 1.30pm – 9.30pm and Fri 1.30pm – 7pm

Nights: Mon – Thurs 9.30pm – 6am

All successful candidates will be given full training to operate and maintain machines which produce their product. You will be focused on performance and accuracy, naturally confident and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities:

· Accurately and efficiently operate machinery

· Meet production needs of internal and external customers

· Contribute to a manufacturing process that is safe, efficient and sanitary

· Verify that safety equipment on machinery is functional prior to operation

· Be able to follow production instructions, both written and verbal

· Set up and perform minor calibrations on machinery when required

· Operate machinery in a safe manner

· Perform inspections of machinery to ensure efficient operation and production

· Maintain high quality of products as produced through machinery
